“Eclipse” (1989-1993) marks the end of Ejay Weiss’ “Eden”-series.

This painting had been unstretched by the artist and was initially painted in 1989 and titled “Eden II (Large Study)”.

However in 1993 the artist returned to the composition and painted a white moon into the blue square.

The full title of this work is “(Painting with Half Moon) Eclipse”. It consists of acrylic and pumice on canvas and measure 60” x 48”.
